If this is pub food, restaurants could learn a few things from this sports bar. Although this establishment was recently sold (Name and menu) most if not all items are made from scratch and hopefully wont change anytime too soon. As far as bars go….they have the best food around. The beer selection, on the other hand, leaves much to be desired.
Try the Chile verde…a dish that would make your abuela proud. Grilled Mahi Mahi Tacos…outstanding. Choice of three different Sliders…all three spot on. Fries…to die for. There’s just not a bad choice. They even make their own hummus which is absolutely unheard of from a bar of any type. They have patio seating with a big screen to view albeit this is also the smoking area.
Service, on the other hand, is, at times, abysmal and the waitresses can’t make up for this with their lower than average assets. As “Sports Bars” go…this is my favorite…however I go there as a connoisseur of good food and games…NOT as a “Player”.
